It goes without saying that playing without Crowd has become the new routine.

 A total of 292 players were auctioned, with 57 being sold to franchises. Some teams had formed around their core structure, while others, such as Royal Challengers Bangalore and Punjab Kings, had refreshed their structure. Chris Morris is the most expensive IPL Auction purchase ever.

Several players are the faces of several brands and has proven to be very successful with several brands. For example, Virat Kohli is the face of Puma, and Puma is the jersey sponsor for Royal Challengers Bangalore this year.

Because of social media handles like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, which are pivotal platforms for promoting the whole case and respective franchises, Pandemic has driven audiences away from the stadium but not from their teams and players. About every team has a contest and a fan page, allowing fans to participate in a very social way.

Revenue

The BCCI expects to gain about Rs 4,000 crore from this edition, thanks to the return of title sponsor Vivo. Last year, the BCCI announced a 30-40% drop in sales, but it has signed new sponsors to the current roster. As a result, IPL franchises are forecast to see a sales increase of 10-15% this year.

Compared to previous seasons, this season each franchise has a well-balanced roster, meaning that each team’s change would have a greater effect on the points table.
