Concatenate function in excel
In the Excel workbook, we need to structured the data. Often we need to split the content of single cell or sometime we need to merge the content of number of cell into single cell. For merging the content in excel we use Concatenate function.
Concatenate function is used to combine the content of several cells into single cell.
For example- we need to merge the complete address of a single person whose information is split into different cells, by using concatenate function we can merge the cells.
How to use Concatenate function
This is the command used for the concatenate function:
=CONCATENATE(B2,“ ”,C2,“ ”,D2)
Where comma(,) are used to separate two character and inverted commas (“ ”) are used to provide space between two character.
