Connection between Management Dilemma and Management Problem

A Professor want to shoot a video and then upload as a video cast his classes to the absent students or want to review can download and watch the lesson. The professor is concerned that student’s privacy rights will be violated if students can be recognized in the video cast and this gives rise to a situation called “Dilemma” that is sometimes used in the form “you must accept either X, or Y” and this would lead some further conclusion whereas a Problem is a situation in which a gap is found between what is and what ought to be. The management dilemma is usually a symptom of an actual problem and is one of the common management issues that most of the managers and entrepreneurs faces. Yet the choices they make are the basis for their success. As being a business student we may have to consider the tension between freedom and responsibility within teams, the balance between the incompatible needs of different disciplines but the need of the hour is not to solve every single problem he or she faces but to ensure that every dilemma should be betterly managed and that defines an individual as a Good leader.
The different types of Dilemma’s or challenges that a person usually faces are mentioned below:
Conflicts between employees
Individual differences in employees’ abilities, temperaments and work styles can frequently lead to tension and problems on the job. In corporate world, when coworkers clash, you face a dual dilemma — you must deal with the immediate issue as well as prevent fall-out that could negatively affect the rest of your staff. This can be solved by encouraging the parties and brainstorming collectively to resolve the problems.
Low morale
Many factors can cause a decline in morale, including a downsizing or uncertainty about a company’s future and as a manager, you must take decisive action to reverse such trends and bolster spirits.
Meet with your staff and acknowledge that the company has been through a difficult period. Thank them for persevering and continuing to do their best. If you honestly can, assure them that the situation has stabilized.
On an ongoing basis, remember to always recognize and reward good performance.
A simple thank you for public comment about a job well done can help boost the lacking morale.
Performance problems

It’s a very common problem that at least one worker or individual amongst the staff does not performs his or her best. The best strategy for dealing with this dilemma is to hold periodic performance reviews. An under-performing employee is generally an unhappy one, and this can negatively impact the rest of your staff.so motivating him and working in those areas in which he is lacking can help in giving good outcomes.
No business is immune from dilemmas that, if not handled wisely and in a timely fashion, could cause decreased productivity, low employee morale and diminished profitability. But by responding strategically, you’ll find that such problems arise less frequently and pose little threat to your company’s continued stability and success.
