Think Big, Think Predictable
Life is a journey, it goes on and on but the pace of this journey is decided by the decisions we take day in day out. Correct the decision smoother the journey but often we have to make tough decision which require ultimate precision because even a bit of carelessness can lead to incorrect decision making this beautiful journey sluggish. Before taking any decision a lot of thinking is required and a lot of contemplating is needed. Now there is this book named Predictably Irrational: The Hidden Forces That Shape Our Decisions by Dan Arielyas the name suggests that there is always some irrational thinking present behind every decision taken by human beings and obviously they are unaware of that. This book talks about hidden forces or agents of thinking which play a pivotal in each decision making. If you think that you are a maverick thinker then this book is challenge for you and if you think that you are a conformist then it is a guide to you. These lines from the writer say it all “My goal, by the end of this book, is to help you fundamentally rethink what makes you and the people around you tick. I hope to lead you there by presenting a wide range of scientific experiments, findings, and anecdotes that are in many cases quite amusing. Once you see how systematic certain mistakes are—how we repeat them again and again—I think you will begin to learn how to avoid some of them”
